Antara yang sangat berguna dalam web Google Crisis Response ialah Person Finder, mencari orang hilang. Jepun digegar gempa kuat, amaran tsunami dikeluarkan
Menurut Tinjauan Geologi Amerika Syarikat (USGS), gegaran itu berlaku kira-kira 130 kilometer di timur Sendai, Honshu pada kedalaman 24 kilometer.
Televisyen NHK dan saksi melaporkan, gempa bumi kuat itu turut mengakibatkan kecederaan dan menyebabkan sekurang-kurangnya satu kebakaran serta tsunami setinggi empat meter. - REUTERS

A massive 8.9 magnitude quake has hit northeast Japan, causing a four-meter tsunami along parts of the country's coastline.
A ten-metre tsunami hit Sendai airport in the north-east. Television footage showed people standing on the roof of the terminal building.
Four million homes in Tokyo were said to be without electricity.The quake shook buildings in the capital for several minutes and sent people out onto the streets.
The quake that struck at 2:46pm was followed by a series of powerful aftershocks, including a 7.4-magnitude one about 30 minutes later.
